Lacty is built on public data. These are its sources, their licences, and the derived databases we share as those licences require. No organisation listed endorses Lacty.

Breastfeeding

• LactMed (Drugs and Lactation Database), U.S. National Library of Medicine. Public-domain information; Lacty's answers are summaries, some prepared with AI, of these sources and the literature they cite.
• Public-health bodies cited in each topic (for example EFSA, AESAN, FDA, CDC, NHS or WHO).

Medicines

• Spain: AEMPS, CIMA and Nomenclátor (reusable open data with attribution). Pack photographs from CIMA, AEMPS.
• United States: FDA, openFDA NDC Directory (CC0). Images from DailyMed, U.S. National Library of Medicine.

Contains information from Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts and their contributors, made available under the Open Database License 1.0; individual contents under the Database Contents License 1.0. Product photos are by their contributors under CC BY-SA 3.0; Lacty crops and resizes them. Download the derived database (ODbL 1.0) and its credits.
